Burton\u2019s Duratec-R Cam Cover<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Burton now offers a cast aluminium replacement \u2018Duratec-R\u2019 cam cover which has been designed to fit all standard Ford 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5 Duratec HE I4 engines.<\/p>\n

The cam cover can also be used on VVT Duratec engines but only when the variable valve timing gear has been removed. The cam cover is for use with a Ford coil pack and plug leads \u2013 coil-on-plugs cannot be used because of space limitations.<\/p>\n

The cam cover is 65mm in height which will give a 2.3 or 2.5 Duratec engine the same overall height as a standard 2.0 engine with the original Ford cam cover.<\/p>\n

The cam cover comes in a cast finish but can be painted or powder coated if desired.
\nA spun aluminium filler cap is also included.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Duratec-R\u2019 aluminium cam cover kit includes: sand cast aluminium cover, spun aluminium filler cap, internal baffle tray, plastic filler cap key, complete o-ring seal set and fittings.
