DEI\u2019s Form-A-Shield<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Crawl underneath or look under the bonnet of almost any modern car and you\u2019ll find dimpled aluminium heat shields protecting the passenger compartment and delicate components from heat. Now, thanks to DEI, you can have that same protection on your classic, street rod, camper van, boat or kit car.<\/p>\n

DEI\u2019s Form-A-Shield is made from 10mm thick dimpled aluminium with a \u00bc\u201d (6.35mm) thick high temperature basalt insulation. Form-A-Shield can withstand direct temperatures in excess of 1400\u02daF (760\u02da C) so it can be applied directly to high temperature sources such as exhausts and turbos.<\/span><\/p>\n

It can be easily moulded to fit around cast exhaust manifolds, pipes and silencers and provides outstanding performance in reflecting and blocking heat.<\/p>\n

It can be fixed in place to floors, panels and firewalls with DEI\u2019s 010490 Spray Adhesive or mechanically fastened with DEI metal ties.<\/p>\n

DEI\u2019s Form-A-Shield is available in two sizes:
