So, even then, British Leyland knew that improvements were possible and desirable. If you have managed to lay your hands on a surviving Stag though at least you can bring the suspension up to scratch; GAZ IS now offering adjustable, uprated dampers made to an even higher specification than the original optional versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GAZ\u2008dampers offer on-the-car adjustable rebound at the front and on-the-car adjustable bump and rebound at the rear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Various fixed bump rates are available for the front depending on whether the vehicle is to be used on the road or in competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GAZ dampers feature a protective zinc plated body, all units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two year warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Front damper insets are available as part number GAI-2334 at \u00a392.19 each and rear dampers are part number GT4-2113, retailing at \u00a360.67 plus VAT each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For further details visit the GAZ website:<br>www.gazshocks.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When it was new, Triumph Stag purchasers had the option of choosing uprated dampers made by an outside company.
