Replacing them with original runners was fine for a time but sooner or later the replacements would also rust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, Mini Spares has a permanent solution &#8211; replacement runners made from stainless steel &#8211; yet another part that is exclusive to Mini Spares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The runners have the appropriate holes in them for the locking window catches and come in two types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For pre-May 1963 Minis which use original metal catches there is 14A6769 (R\/H) and 14A6770 (L\/H) at \u00a323.00 each inc. VAT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Minis with plastic catches use 24A1303 for the right and 24A1304 for the left at \u00a320.76 inc VAT per side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mini Spares can also supply the black solid type channel to hold the sliding window glass at<br>\u00a319.74 per side inc.
