It is suitable for YB Cosworth (N\/A &amp; turbo) and SOHC Pinto engines from clubman level up to serious full race.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The kit includes: a smooth cast aluminium sump pan with a sealing O-ring to the block face, mounting bosses for a crank sensor bracket, twin filtered scavenge pick ups and an integral baffle assembly. The sump also contains various external mounting points which makes it possible to use a custom made cradle to mount the 4wd front differential whilst providing clearance for the drive shaft.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The pump mounts on the distributor side of the block and drives from the jackshaft.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The pump is a gear type, rather than the more usual rotor type, which gives it many advantages:<br>\u2022 Capable of reaching and maintaining high<br>pressures<br>\u2022 Less pressure spiking<br>\u2022 Machined gears with closer tolerances<br>between gears<br>\u2022 Creates more vacuum (helping the engine to<br>run by reducing\/removing internal pressures<br>such as piston blow-by)<br>\u2022 High flow rates<br>\u2022 Direct porting reduces heating of oil during its<br>passage through the pump caused by friction<br>\u2022 Excellent performance when oil is cold in<br>comparison with rotor pumps<br>\u2022 Far more efficient than a rotor pump<br>\u2022 Very compact<br>\u2022 Very robust\/durable<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Suitable for most Ford SOHC Pinto applications (Capri, Cortina, Escort RS2000 Mk1&amp;2 and\u2008Mexico 1.6) and Cosworth YB 16v Turbo applications (Sierra RS Cosworth 3 door, Sierra Cosworth RS500 and Sierra Sapphire RS).<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Order as OPIDSK1 at \u00a31,725.00 incl.
