Burton has come to the rescue by making the task of fitting a Pinto SOHC engine into a Mk1 or Mk2 Escort easier through creating a reproduction of the Escort RS2000 Mk1\/2 aluminium sump. The Burton sump provides suitable clearance around the crossmember and steering rack; it also incorporates amendments to the sump baffle so that more protection from oil surge is provided than the original version. The modified baffles will also fit original sumps with bolt in baffles and are available separately. NB: This sump must be used with an RS2000 pickup pipe. (Burton part FT651).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sump kit includes sump pan, baffle, sump mounting bolts, drain plug and washer. Order as part number FT650K at \u00a3279.95 inc. VAT
