Experienced engine tuners know that when rebuilding an engine it\u2019s a wise move to remove these plugs to clean out any sludge and then fit new plugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mini Spares has the tapered 6.25mm to 6.95mm plug to fit the 1\/4\u201d hole on pre-1985 \u2018Metro\u2019 blocks (order as part number 2K1345) and the cup type 12.7mm diameter plug that fits the 1\/2\u201d hole on 1985-on engine blocks (order as part number 12G3503).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On pre-1985 blocks two 2K1345 plugs will be required at \u00a31.79 each inc. VAT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 1985-on engines four 12G3503 plugs are required on large bore blocks and two are required on small bore engines at \u00a31.74 each inc.
