The oil contains a higher amount of Zinc\/ZDDP (1300ppm) compared to the Castrol equivalent (of 800ppm. Thus it offers greater protection for classic engines and integral gearboxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This oil is close to the oil that BMC\/Leyland recommended to overcome heavy oil consumption on Minis during the 1960&#8217;s period of warranty problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mini Spares CLASSIC\u2008oil is in a class of its own when it comes to maintaining viscosity which thus reduces the risk of the oil leaks that plagued the mid-Sixties Minis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mini Spares CLASSIC\u2008oil has good mixing qualities with other oils and has a low-detergent cleaning chemical base to help protect small gearbox roller bearings and layshafts from abrasive wear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mini Spares CLASSIC\u2008oil is available in 5 litre containers as part number GUL7005T at \u00a326.50 inc.
