The first to become available is for the Escort Mk1\/2 RS200 and Mexico SOHC\u2008Pinto.<\/p>\n<p>This stainless steel exhaust manifold has been handmade to provide maximum performance whilst looking like a work of art at the same time. The photographs only give an indication of how amazing these manifolds look in the flesh!<\/p>\n<p>This manifold is manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel with a wall thickness of 1.2mm. The joints are gas purged TIG welded. Gas purging provides two benefits. Firstly, it prevents oxidisation in the weld which would compromise the strength and corrosive resistance of the joint. Secondly, it allows the weld to remain smooth inside the pipe thus increasing exhaust gas flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 All bends in the tube are mandrel bent to ensure that there is no reduction in diameter throughout the bend for optimum gas flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 All primary pipes are constructed to an equal length to ensure smooth and equal performance from each cylinder.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 All collectors are fully welded merge types which are designed to maximise gas flow.<\/p>\n<p>Suitable for:<br \/>\nFord Escort Mk1 RS2000 1973-1974<br \/>\nFord Escort Mk2 RS Mexico 1975-1978<br \/>\nFord Escort Mk2 RS2000 1976-1980<br \/>\nFord Escort Mk1\/Mk2 fitted with SOHC Pinto engine.
