On most cars the rear camber angle is fixed as standard and cannot be modified.

However, Burton now offers a camber plate kit for the Ford Fiesta Mk 7. Simply placing these plates between the wheel hub and rear beams the camber alters with minimal change to the wheel track.

This kit will increase the camber by an extra 1.5° per side at the rear thereby providing the optimal wheel contact to the ground.

The Ford Fiesta Mk 7 sometimes has a tendency to understeer when approaching a turn.

The new 22mm diameter DNA rear torsion bar, from Burton, will completely eliminate the under steering tendency and, as a result, facilitates a very quick steering response.

In general, the use of bigger anti-roll bars improve the overall performance of the vehicle whilest maintaining a “much flatter set up” that reduces the roll angle during cornering.

The latest cooperation project by ABT Sportsline from Germany has more power than an RS6+ and will leave any supercar behind – on the shoreline. The STRIDER 11 ABT SPORT MASTER LIMITED EDITION is a luxury sports speedboat in the base with 740 HP (544 kW) that was developed together with renowned boat builder SACS from Italy. Which is where the fascinating vessel is built on the basis of the STRIDER 11 production model. The result of the RIB design is a relatively lightweight 4.5 t low-draft sports boat which can reach more than 50 knots (around 93 km/h) on the water, despite its length of 11 m.

“Many of our customers are interested in boats and yachts,” explains Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of the world’s largest tuner for Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. “That is why I had long dreamed of transferring our technical and styling skills from vehicle tuning to a boat. And I immediately knew I had hit the right nerve among my employees with this project.” The finished project is testament to the passion developed by all those involved. At the BOOT exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, the STRIDER 11 ABT will be presented to the public for the first time at the SACS stand E21, hall 5, from January 19 to 27. But anyone looking to buy one of these has to hurry up, as the collector’s item is strictly limited to ten boats.

The look of the entire vessel – which is already very sporty in the basic version from SACS – immediately reveals the signature features from the Bavarian tuner. Carbon black tubes with a matt black hull and deck produce a highly dynamic aura. An ABT Carbon Look Kit is additionally installed, with numerous design elements made of real CRP. For cars, the ABT Individual departments stands for unique customized solutions. And for this project it also demonstrated its full skillset by developing an interior design that reflects the philosophy of ABT Sportsline in many details, from the color choice to the cushions. Even the engine compartment was specially styled.

Standing in the redesigned cockpit, the wow effect could be even bigger, soon: The ABT engineers are currently working on ABT Power performance upgrade with a final performance of about 800 HP. When it comes to acoustics, the STRIDER 11 ABT SPORT MASTER already delivers a brilliant performance – the exhaust sound control definitely turns this sports speedboat into absolute emotional fireworks.

Last year, the new Audi A6 and A7 as well as the VW Touareg III appeared on the scene as a highly attractive premium trio. The 3.0 TDI, which has 286 HP (210 kW) as a production model, turns these desirable cars into the “three muscleteers”. With the exception of the planned Touareg V8 TDI, the engine is the strongest diesel engine in the range and the perfect choice for dynamic driving on long journeys. The AEC, specially developed by the Bavarian tuner, provides maximum reliability and optimum power delivery. This is ensured by complex calibration runs on the chassis dynamometer and on public roads as well as comprehensive measures for engine protection and extensive warranties. But ABT Sportsline does not just make the Audi A6, A7 and VW Touareg faster, it also gives the cars a more dynamic look. The Bavarian experts are currently sprucing up an A6 Avant 3.0 TDI to be presented at the Geneva International Motor Show from March 7 to 17, 2019 – hall 1, booth 1244. The glacier-white vehicle is fitted with the 9.5 x 21 inch ABT FR rims in mystic black, with the corresponding 255/35 R21 tires from partner Continental. An extensive aero package is also installed: It includes the ABT front spoiler with a glossy black air inlet panel, the ABT rear skirt set featuring a diffusor in the same color and matt black tailpipe trims as the distinguishing features of the speedy station wagon. With its mighty torque and plenty of horsepower, it is a joy to drive even on Swiss freeways with strict speed limits – because the true experience here is the acceleration. 100 km/h, for example, can be reached in just 5.5 seconds – around two tenths earlier than with the production version. The Audi A7 achieves the same head start, while the VW Touareg also gets about two tenths faster: It now sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 5.9 instead of 6.1 seconds.
