The Rebound Buffer fits under the top suspension arm on classic Minis.

In keeping with its policy of constant improvement, Mini Spares is now stocking a new version of the Rebound Buffer that uses a poly material rather than rubber and features a stainless steel base.

The new Mini Spares buffer is resistant to oil contamination and the base is resistant to rust, thus the component should have a far longer service life than the original version.

The TVR Tamora 2-seater sports car was introduced in 2002 to fill the gap left by the company’s Chimaera and Griffith models and was the entry-level model of the TVR range. With a 0–60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of over 170 mph (270 km/h) this is a pretty potent car. Now, GAZ has produced a monotube suspension to ensure all of that power handles properly.

GAZ gas-charged Monotube Coilovers are far lighter than other types of coilover damper. They also make more use of lightweight billet aluminium parts that helps reduce unsprung weight thus making them ideal for serious trackday or competition use. They also react quicker and can be used in an inverted position.

GAZ Monotube Coilover kits come with silicone chrome springs and the required mounting hardware. The spring platforms are adjustable to allow the ride height to be altered as required and the bump and rebound settings can be adjusted by means of a knurled collar at the top (or bottom if used inverted).

Like all GAZ coilovers the monotubes carry a two year warranty for non race use.

GAZ Monotube Coilover kits come with silicone chrome springs and the required mounting hardware. The spring platforms are adjustable to allow the ride height to be altered as required and the bump and rebound settings can be adjusted by means of a nut on the base. (On these units the base becomes the top, as they are mounted in an inverted position. Unlike other monotubes they can only be mounted one way).

Like all GAZ coilovers the monotubes carry a two year warranty for non race use.

Bespoke valving and customer’s preferred spring rates are also available.

The Toyota MR-2 is already a great handling sports car with its transverse mounted mid engine and front and rear MacPherson strut suspension. However, it’s quite easy to improve things even further with a GAZ GHA suspension kit.

The Gaz units are both height and damper rate adjustable. Ride height is adjustable through 80mm of adjustment.

The height adjusters have a coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and the damper units are black zinc plated to ensure that they remain in good order even after considerable service.

Damper rates are variable through 22 different settings by means of an adjuster knob on the damper body. Donor struts are required as the brackets and bodies are renovated and reused.

All the units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two year warranty.
