Bad hot starting can be the result of a build-up of pressure in the fuel feed line of a carburettor equipped car which causes flooding of the carburettor either during hot soak or whilst cranking.

Some manufacturers addressed this problem by fitting a fuel return line to the tank. However, this is a cumbersome solution for owners of cars without this feature as it involves making irreversible modifications to the car. Thankfully, Webcon has the answer.

Webcon’s Fuel Line Pressure Relief Kit consists of extra fuel hose, clips, and two tee pieces, (one with a valve and one without) to create a by-pass loop in the feed pipe which then bleeds excess pressure build-up from the system.

Installation involves just cutting the fuel feed pipe before and after the fuel pump then inserting the by-pass hose via the tee pieces. As well as the components listed above the kit also comes will illustrated instructions.Solving a hot starting problem really is as simple as that. . The original factory caburettor linkage for the Ford Pinto has not been available for many years. However, Webcon has now produced an almost exact replica.

The LP4232 linkage kit can be used to connect a Weber 32/36DGV or DGAV to a Ford Pinto engine. It will also enable the Ford 1.6/2.0 OHC engine to be converted to Twin Choke Weber power.

Webcon now manufactures a new downdraft intake manifold to suit the Ford Crossflow engine based on the long since obsolete original Ford manifold (as used on the Cortina and Escort GT models). Burton Power is pleased to offer the Titan Dry Sump Oil Pump which incorporates a standard type oil filter fitting which removes the need for a remote filter assembly.

This configuration is ideal for Formula Fords and other chassis engine mounted applications.

The pump is fitted with a tuftrided steel drive gear, 5/8″ pressure rotor, and large 1 1/8″ scavenge rotor and is supplied with 2 x 1/2″ BSP thread ports plus one port requiring a bolt-on fitting (which is also available from Burton as part number DSE020).
