Webcon has produced Weber DCOE conversions for the Ford Pinto engine for over forty years. Some installations pose a challenge for modifiers in that they are very restricted for space, with the servo or battery box location meaning that significant modifications are necessary to allow fitment of the carburettors on the existing 94mm deep manifold.

That has all changed now though with the introduction of the new Webcon short manifold, which has an overall depth of just 30mm. This has allowed the production of special Weber DCOE kits suitable for restricted applications and these are available with both 40 and 45DCOE carburettors.

Both kits feature the new, Webcon UK manufactured manifold MW4272, along with a pair of authentic Spanish Weber DCOE carburettors and the superb Webcon Heritage Billet twin cable linkage set.

The Ford Pinto engine has been the heart of fast Fords for over five decades and modifying this legendary power plant is still extremely popular.

Many customers are now opting to upgrade the ignition system by fitting a mappable ECU. A key component in this conversion is the Webcon trigger disc kit.

In 1990 the style of wiper arm on the classic Mini changed from the clip-on end to the hook-end to prevent wiper blades flying off under kinetic force whilst in operation.

The factory water pump pulley on Kent and Lotus Twin Cam engines is a pressed steel item. Burton Power now offers an alloy replacement that not only looks better but is less prone to damage and rust resulting in fusion with the water pump spindle.

Part number FL307 alloy water pump pulley will fit Lotus Twin Cam, Pre-X/Flow and pre-711M Crossflow OHV Kent engines. (The later 711M engines use a pulley with a larger offset. The alloy version for this engine is also available as part number FT320).
