To complement the existing range of 56mm, 63mm and 70mm diameter mesh filters, Webcon is pleased to introduce a fourth version to suit air horns with an 80mm outside diameter.

The filters have been specifically manufactured to fit the new 125mm Weber 48IDA air horns. However, they will suit any carburettor or throttle body air horn that has an 80mm bellmouth diameter.

The new filters are available from stock and feature twin stainless steel layers of hexagonal mesh to protect and support a latex foam filter element inside.

Mini Spares Baulk Ring To Original Rover Spec Pre 2000 for classic Minis

We all know that Rover has had its production problems in latter years and the baulk ring that it produced for the classic Mini – 22G2033 version – is one of them.

Thankfully Mini Spares now makes its own version which is CNC grooved to the correct shape and machined for accurate concentricity. The rings use the original type fixings and are heat treatedin the correct areas. Mini Spares has worked from the original drawings to ensure that the rings have the correct degree of angles and match the quality of the parts that Rover were producing pre millennium.

The baulk ring is now better and cheaper than the current Rover product and Mini Spares uses them itself in its five speed gearboxes.

These remote baulk (synchro) rings slow down the gears to ensure that they mesh without crashing. They have a friction surface that is the first thing to engage with the next gear when shifting. The height that the ring sits proud of the cone surface indicates the amount of wear, but the sensible approach is to replace them whenever the gearbox is overhauled. At just £13.98 each inc. VAT it would be false economy not to do so.

M-Style/Cobra Sport Rear Diffuser and Quad-Exit Exhaust Conversion Package for BMW 420d M-Sport (F32, F33 & F36)

M-Style has teamed up with leading performance exhaust manufacturer, Cobra-Sport, to offer a unique package of a new Quad-Exit Exhaust Conversion and Rear Diffuser For the BMW 420d M-Sport.

The Cobra Sport high-quality, quad tailpipe conversion is a direct replacement for the OEM system on the M-Sport Coupe, Cabriolet and Gran Coupe models once the M-Style replacement rear valance has been fitted.

The upgrade exhaust conversion is manufactured from aircraft-quality T304 stainless steel. GAZ Adjustable GHA Suspension for VW Golf 4WD

The VW Golf MkIV 4-motion has pretty good handling and road holding as standard. This is largely due to the Haldex transmission system but there is still room for improvement particularly in adding adjustability to accommodate different driving styles and conditions.

GAZ GHA damper units and struts allow damping adjustment while on the vehicle by means of easily accessible adjuster knobs or top adjusters.

Shortened body and stroke lengths allow a -25 to
-55mm ride height variation with a coarse acme form thread provided for easy adjustment.

Each unit is bright plated to protect against corrosion and to ensure that the height adjusters will go on working for many years to come.

GAZ Fixed-Pan Suspension Struts for Ford Fiesta 1983-1989

In order to improve the ride and handling of the Ford Fiesta 1983-89 GAZ Shocks has produced a front strut with a fixed spring seat unit to take standard diameter coil springs. These come with the added benefit of adjustable damping from a single control on top of the unit.

These units are manufactured mainly for the classic car market with the aim of retaining original equipment ride height. However, other spring lengths can be produced to customers’ requirements if the car is to be lowered or raised for competition use.

All units are individually tested and provided with a test print out before leaving the factory and
come with the peace of mind of a two year manufacturer’s warranty.

GAZ Adjustable Monotube Suspension for BMW E36

Through their involvement in racing the team members at GAZ Shocks have become quite the experts in designing performance suspension for various BMW models.

Now they have turned their attention to the modern-classic BMW E36 320 and 325 1992-95 and come up with a monotube design suspension.

GAZ gas-charged Monotube Coilovers are far lighter than other types of coilover damper and make more use of lightweight billet aluminium parts that reduces unsprung weight. This makes them ideal for serious trackday or competition use. They also react quicker and can be used in an inverted position (as shown).

GAZ Monotube Coilovers come with silicone chrome springs and the required mounting hardware. The spring platforms are adjustable to allow the ride height to be altered as required and the bump and rebound settings can be adjusted by means of a knurled collar at the top (or bottom if used inverted).

Like all GAZ coilovers the monotubes carry a two year warranty for non race use.

Bespoke valving and the customer’s preferred spring rates are also available.

­GAZ Gold Adjustable Coilover Dampers for Vauxhall/Opel Astra Mk3 (Astra F) 1991-1998

The Vauxhall Astra Mk3 was a popular car through most of the Nineties but later Sport and GSi models (from 1995 onwards) were fitted with Lotus Sprung Suspension indicating that the standard suspension could be improved upon.

Nowadays GAZ can offer a GAZ Gold conversion to improve the suspension of the Astra and its Continental cousin the Kadette E which will also provide bump/rebound damper-rate adjustability and adjustable ride height at the front.

The kit includes damper rate and height adjustable coilovers for the front and rate-adjustable telescopic dampers with fixed height spring platforms for the rear. There is also the option of rear height adjustable coilovers – as shown – which can be fitted if the customer turrets the car.

The coilovers have a coarse acme form thread for ease of height adjustment and to ensure that they remain in good order even after considerable service.

Damping rates are variable by means of an adjuster knob on the damper bodies. The GAZ Gold range is designed primarily for out-and-out racing; each comes with a reservoir filled with a high viscosity index multi grade oil to reduce fade and a gas cell to prevent cavitation under harsh racing and trackday conditions. Springs can be supplied to the customer’s specifications according to the vehicle’s intended use with softer spring rates available for road use..

All the units are individually tested before leaving the factory.
