The rear bearing set deserves special mention as it is based on the original MPI version from 1996-on which had an extra O ring. This was introduced by Rover as a warranty upgrade on Minis with 13″ wheels for better sealing quality. The rear bearing kit also features very heavy duty tapered roller wheel bearings as fitted to all post 1985 cars and the Mini Cooper S, although this kit can be used on any classic Mini.
