Mini Spares Upgraded Throttle Position Sensor For Mini SPI only

For safe and reliable motoring an EFi equipped engine needs an efficient Throttle Position Sensor. Mini Spares now offers an upgraded throttle position sensor for single point injection classic Minis that fits on the end of the throttle butterfly spindle.

The original sensors used a contact type variable resistor design; this will wear out over time, leading to a jerky, inconsistent throttle response.

The Mini Spares unit uses an upgraded TMR sensor which makes it more reliable than the originals and better than the aftermarket hall effect sensors currently on the market. Hall effect sensors will not work with all SPI models and sometimes fail to activate under low temperature conditions.

Order as part number MMJ10003 at £185.26 inc. VAT

This plate is for use with a pre verto, diaphragm type clutch cover and is less expensive than some other popular road/rally clutches. In development it was tested at 10,000rpm and then on to destruction for evaluation.
