The Seat Leon has fast become a favourite car for tuning and track days and now GAZ suspension can offer fully adjustable rear dampers for the Leon Mk2 (1P) 2005-2012.

The Jaguar Mark 2 was produced from 1959 to 1967 and in its last year before being replaced by the XJ6 was renamed the Jaguar 240 and Jaguar 340. The Mk2 was the first post war Jaguar to use Arabic numerals for its model number; all other Jaguars were denoted by Roman numerals. (e.g. Mk VII, Mk VIII)

In 1953 AC began production of the AC Ace. Soon afterwards, car dealer and racing driver Ken Rudd fitted his own competition Ace with a pre-war BMW-designed, Bristol-produced 135 bhp (101 kW) six-cylinder engine. This combination was put into production in 1957 as the AC Ace-Bristol. In this form, the car raced at Le Mans in 1957 and 1958.

It might be a new year, but this month’s product from Fidanza is decidedly ‘Old School’.

The Fidanza Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel for 1949-1953 Ford 6cyl/8cyl Flathead 8BA Blocks will delight hot rodders and rebuilders alike with improved performance and acceleration. Replacing the heavy standard flywheel dramatically improves the power-to-weight ratio.

The Fidanza aluminium flywheel is made from high-quality machined 6061 T6 aluminium with a 1050 steel friction surface. Fastener holes and chamfers have been CNC machined for accuracy and military grade fasteners are included.

The steel friction surface of the flywheel (shown in the image with its green protective coating) is heat treated for optimum grip and a long service life. It is also replaceable; when the surface eventually becomes worn it can be changed without having to replace the whole flywheel.

This neat stainless steel adaptor connects to the speedometer cable output drive to allow a Ford electronic speedometer sensor to be fitted to an older style gearbox (such as a Rocket or Type 9 gearbox).

The adaptor is also compatible with many other makes of sensors that use an M18x1.5 thread; for example, Vauxhall, Fiat, VW, etc.

Now, classic rear wheel drive Fords can be fitted with electronic speedometers thanks to a new sensor from Burton Power.

The sensor will connect to most Ford RWD gearboxes that have an M18x1.5 speedometer cable output thread.

The sensor gives an eight pulse per revolution signal and is just 45mm in length which means it can be mounted within most transmission tunnels.

Connection to the electronic speedometer is by means of a three wire connector: pickup, live and an earth.

The American made pump flows at a maximum rate of 27 gallons per hour and operates by moving a stainless steel plunger inside a brass cylinder. There are no seals or diaphragm to wear.

The kit includes a replaceable 74 micron fuel filter and a magnet to trap metallic particles.

The negative earth pump is suitable for front or rear mounting and comes with unions, rubber mountings and a spare filter.
