Burton Power now has alloy block breather elbows to suit Ford engines with 20mm and 23.5mm breather outlets.

The 20mm breather elbow can be ordered as part number FP280 and is suitable for Ford SOHC Pinto, Crossflow (2733E, 2737E & 681F blocks) and Pre-Crossflow Kent engines including those used in the Marcos 1500 GT and Morgan 4/4 1.0/1.3/1.5 1960-1968.

The 23.5mm breather elbow can be ordered as part number FP280A and is suitable for Ford Crossflow (691M, 711M & Fiesta blocks) including Caterham 7, Morgan 4/4 1600 1.6 1969- and TVR 1600M 1.6 1972-1977.

Both types are a precise push-fit into the block and both retail at £8.95 each inc. VAT

DEI makes dozens of different heat shields including some that are self-adhesive or can be glued in place. However sometimes a rigid or semi rigid heat shield is required that stands away from the surface a little, rather than be in direct contact with it; for example when there are wires or fuel lines that also need to be protected from the heat source. That’s when the latest stand off kit from DEI comes in handy.

The new DEI universal mounting kit for ridged or semi-ridged heat shields comprises six stainless steel standoffs with mounting bolts, nuts and washers. The kit will provide a half inch (1.27 cms) stand off.
