GAZ Adjustable Race Dampers for Citroen 2CV

Now we know that racing a Citroen 2CV may not be everyone’s idea of motorsport, but there are quite a few Deux Chevaux racers out there. If you ever feel the need to get into this quirky sport at least you’ll know where to get race dampers…!

GAZ offer race dampers for the 2CV in its GT Adjustable Damper range. The dampers have a larger body than the ones GAZ offers for 2CV road cars; and their rate can be adjusted by means of an easily accessible adjuster knob on the side enabling the owner to ‘trim’ the suspension system to suit the track and driving style.

GAZ dampers feature a zinc plated body and protective plastic sleeve to keep them looking good and working well for long into the future.

All the units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two year warranty.

GAZ dampers for the 2CV can also be specially made with valving to suit road use and reduce the roll associated with the standard 2CV.

Burton Front Strut Brace for classic Ford Escort Mk2

Burton Power can now offer strut braces to firm up the front suspension of Mk2 Escorts (and some Mk 1 models).

The strut braces are made from steel and are built to a very high standard, using TIG welding, competition spherical joints, stainless fixings and a black powder coated finish.

The strut braces are straight so will suit engines with twin sidedraft carburettors or throttle bodies. (They will not clear downdraft single or twin carbs but Burton has alternative braces for those configurations).

Two versions are available to suitboth types of strut mount hole sizes that were used.
The small hole version (bore size approx 85mm) can be ordered as part number MP239S and the larger hole version (bore size approx 110mm) can be ordered as part number MP239L.
Both types retail at £98.95 each inc. VAT.

MP239S will fit the Ford Escort Mk2 1.1/1.3/1.6 OHV 02/1977-1980 when fitted with twin sidedraft carburettors, plus the Mk2 RS Mexico 02/1977-1980 (twin carbs) and Mk2 RS2000 02/1977-1980 (twin carbs).

MP239L will fit the Ford Escort Mk1 1.1/1.3 1968-1974 when fitted with twin sidedraft carburettors, plus the Mk1 Twin Cam 1968-1971, Mk1 Mexico 1970-1974 (twin carbs), Mk1 RS1600 1970-1974 and Mk1 RS2000 1973-1974 (twin carbs).

Burton Alloy Red Rocker Cover
for Ford X/Flow & pre-X/Flow Kent Engines

If you are looking to dress up your Ford’s engine bay then Burton Power has just the thing – a BURTON alloy red rocker cover. It is suitable for all Pre-Crossflow and Crossflow Kent engines including the transverse version used on early Fiestas (although the filler cap is at the opposite end of the cover).
