for Ford 1.3 Crossflow OHV Kent 711M and to raise compression in 1.6 Ford/Caterham/Morgan/TVR Kent engines

This 0.060” oversized piston was originaliy designed for Ford 711M engines with flat, (non-chambered) heads (introduced in August 1970) and Fiesta 821M engines.

This 1.3 piston can also be used as an upgraded part in 1.6 engines as the smaller chamber in the piston will raise compression to approx 10.3:1.

Burton’s Alloy Sump Pan Kit

with modified gated baffle plate for RWD Escorts with Ford SOHC Pinto engine

Burton is now offering a reproduction of the Escort RS2000 Mk1/2 and Mexico Mk2 LHD aluminium sump. This sump is required when installing an SOHC Pinto engine in any RWD Escort as it provides suitable clearance around the crossmember and steering rack. Burton has introduced this sump as good used sumps are now becoming rare and expensive.

Whilst reproducing this sump, Burton has taken the opportunity to redesigned the sump baffle so that it provides far more protection from oil surge than the original version. The modified baffle is designed to always keep the pick-up surrounded by oil even at all times under extreme surge conditions. The Burton sump features a one-way gate that allows oil movement towards the pick-up pipe but not away from it.

The kit includes a sump pan, baffle, sump mounting bolts, drain plug and washer.
Suitable for: Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 2.0 LHD 1973-1974 and Escort Mk2 RS2000 2.0 & Mexico 1.6 LHD 1975-1980.

GAZ Monotube Coilover Kits for TVR Tamora

The TVR Tamora 2-seater sports car was introduced in 2002 to fill the gap left by the company’s Chimaera and Griffith models and was the entry-level model of the TVR range. With a 0–60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of over 170 mph (270 km/h) this is a pretty potent car. Now, GAZ has produced a monotube suspension to ensure all of that power handles properly.

GAZ gas-charged Monotube Coilovers are far lighter than other types of coilover damper. They also make more use of lightweight billet aluminium parts that helps reduce unsprung weight thus making them ideal for serious trackday or competition use. They also react quicker and can be used in an inverted position.

GAZ Monotube Coilover kits come with silicone chrome springs and the required mounting hardware. The spring platforms are adjustable to allow the ride height to be altered as required and the bump and rebound settings can be adjusted by means of a knurled collar at the top (or bottom if used inverted).

Like all GAZ coilovers the monotubes carry a two year warranty for non race use.
