These might just look like gear knobs, but even these simple parts take hours of careful thought to perfect the design. The gear knobs have to feel right, look right and, most importantly, function right.
To enhance the feel of the shift action the knobs have been deliberately weighted to 156g. The diameter and overall size have been ergonomically determined and the product has been machined from 6082 T6 billet alloy prior to being vapour blasted which adds texture to the surface.
Two versions are available. The four speed version is available as part number BG8120, while the five speed version can be ordered as part number BG8121. Both feature an anodised black finish with recessed silver markings and each retails at £29.58 inc. VAT.

Bad hot starting can be the result of a build-up of pressure in the fuel feed line of a carburettor equipped car which causes flooding of the carburettor either during hot soak or whilst cranking.
Some manufacturers addressed this problem by fitting a fuel return line to the tank. However, this is a cumbersome solution for owners of cars without this feature as it involves making irreversible modifications to the car. Thankfully Webcon has the answer.
Webcon’s Fuel Line Pressure Relief Kit consists of extra fuel hose, clips and two tee pieces, (one with a valve and one without) to provide a by-pass loop in the feed pipe which then bleeds excess pressure build up from the system.
Installation involves just cutting the fuel feed pipe before and after the fuel pump and inserting the by-pass hose via the tee pieces. Solving a hot starting problem really is as simple as that. The kit contains a length of fuel hose, six hose clamps, two tee pieces and illustrated instructions. The kit is available with 8mm i.d. hose (Part HSK001) or 6mm I.D. hose (Part HSK002) and retails at £26.90 plus VAT.

Webcon now manufactures a heat shield for use on the Weber DCOE and DCO/SP range of carburettors.
On non-crossflow engines the carburettors are directly above the exhaust manifold. When exhaust heat rises up it can cause fuel handling problems in sidedraft carburettors. The new Webcon Heat Shield helps alleviate these problems by deflecting the heat around the carburettor.
The new Webcon Heat Shield is superbly made in the UK from 1.6mm Stainless Steel.
Part number 9990398700 is stamped with the Webcon logo to easily distinguish it from the thinner, less effective copies on the market.
The new Webcon Heat Shield retails at £22.39 plus VAT. One heat shield is required per carburettor.
