RPS Battery – Lithium-ion technology

RPS Battery
– Lithium-ion technology

Replacing the existing heavy lead acid battery with a lithium-ion battery is the easiest and most effective method of reducing the overall weight of a competition car.

A lithium-ion battery also enables the battery location to be changed to lower the centre of gravity. Since lithium-ion batteries are sealed they can be mounted in any orientation, even flat on their side.

The RPS (Racing Power Solution) RPS-LB-B20 battery is a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery which has been produced to the highest quality by utilising the latest materials and production methods.

This RPS RPS-LB-B20 lightweight is suitable for use with racing car engines up to 1600cc which are fitted with an alternator and pit equipment.

A lithium-ion charger (RPS-L100C-14.4) is included at no extra cost to maximise the performance and lifespan of the RPS battery.

The RPS RPS-LB-B20 battery has a nominal voltage of 13.2v and a nominal capacity of 13.0Ah (172Wh). The charge current is 30A and the pulse cranking current is 600A.

The RPS RPS-LB-B20 battery comes with M6 terminals and retails at £395.99 inc VAT. (£329.99+VAT)
