Mini Spares now has a mobile phone holder, incorporating a useful USB port, that replaces the ashtray in the padded rail on classic Mini dashboards.
This is no cheap plastic novelty. The plate is made from powder coated 3mm steel and the spring loaded clamp will securely hold phones between 59mm to 106mm wide.
The USB port has a 5v, 2Ah output which is perfect for charging the phone and the assembly is supplied with one metre of wire to hard-wire it into the car through the ashtray opening for a ‘professionally-installed’ appearance.
