First of all a steel brush is used to thoroughly remove the rust from the brake caliper, then the special FOLIATEC®.com Brake Cleaner allows any residues from oil and brake fluids to be wiped away. The painting process is simple; mix the lacquer and hardener and then use a brush to apply one or two layers. For a clean result, all parts adjacent to the brake caliper should be masked beforehand.
Each Brake Caliper Lacquer Set also contains disposable protective gloves, steel brush, brush and scoop. These four utensils are also contained in the alternative Brake Caliper Mouting Kit for those who prefer to spray instead of painting. Simply add Brake Caliper Lacquer Thinner to the colour and then use a spray gun.
