Just because you happen to have a rather unusual classic doesn’t mean that you can’t get performance dampers for it. GAZ shocks recently had a request for bump and rebound adjustable dampers for a Volvo 940 which isn’t in their regular catalogue. Not a problem. The VW Transporter is enjoying incredible popularity at the moment and to get the look right they need to be lowered. But before you start attacking the springs with an oxy-acetylene torch just check out the two complete suspension kits from GAZ : the GAZ Gold provides all round height adjustability with full damper adjustment and GAZ Gold Ultra provides the same with a lower stance to start with.
