Forget remapping and tuning boxes!
M-Style, the official UK distributor of Mosselman Turbo Systems and products has just received stocks of the latest technology breakthrough – the iTronic Tuning Module from Europe’s leading tuners Mosselman.
The iTronic is the next level of intelligent engine control and quite unlike anything that has gone before. It will improve performance on any current BMW car (…by approx. 25-40% on turbocharged cars and, in some cases, with optional plug-ins, the performance increase can even exceed 100%). The iTronic will increase acceleration, make the car feel lighter and raise the overall driving experience to a whole new level.
The heart of the system is a cutting edge technology 176 pin, 80MHz microcontroller sited in a rugged billet CNC machined aluminium housing. It features a 80-pin connector for in-/output and the calibration and regular software updates can be installed via a waterproof USB 3.1 port. This USB 3.1 port is the latest and fastest transfer method to update/transfer data to and from the device. The settings are managed by steering wheel controls and, in addition to tuning, data logging functions are provided.
The iTronic is available for all BMW ‘F’ models currently on sale and for the forthcoming ‘G’ models. It is future proof – the super powerful 176-pin processor able to read or modify up to 116 channels thus enabling the processor to adjust the mapping to new car types and engines in the future. Also, the brand new “SENT” protocol can be processed by iTronic.
Prices start from £749 incl VAT. iTronic comes with an easy to use manual with step-by-step instructions that will facilitate installation by the customer. Alternatively, a fitting service can be provided, if required, at M-Style’s Romford Fitting Centre.

The MOMO Prototipo Carbon 6C is a classic-looking wheel with a modern twist. A rim bound in the finest Italian leather is a classic feature of many MOMO steering wheels whilst the cut-out spokes hark back to the days of classic open sports cars; however, the modern twist is the carbon fibre covering to the spokes which refreshes the interior and lifts it above the more common black painted spokes of other ‘classic’ steering wheels.
Sadly there are a number of companies from the Far East offering poor quality ‘Lucas style’ reproduction rear lights for the Mini. Fortunately Mini Spares can offer the real thing – high quality Lucas style lamps made in the UK from the original and genuine tooling. (Although these lamps are made from original Lucas tooling the new Mini Spares versions cannot carry the Lucas logo as the trademark was sold to a third party company).
M-Style is proud to announce that it is now a distributor of 3D Design high flow carbon air intake systems. The first to be released is for all BMW F2X M135i and M235i models.
The Triumph Toledo was introduced in August 1970 as a cheaper version of the Triumph 1300. Rear-wheel drive and a live rear axle (with coil springs) was used in the interest of simplicity and low production costs. Nowadays this simpler rear suspension can easily be enhanced by fitting GAZ GS dampers.
The first generation Mustang captivated the tuning world and introduced us all to the Pony Car concept; however, the ‘cart’ sprung rear end is massively outdated by modern standards. GAZ now offers GT Dampers to allow owners to adjust both the front and rear suspension to suit the conditions and driving style.
The original Citroen AX was built with lightness in mind. It weighed just 640 kg (1,411 lb) in its basic version. This could be the basis for a cheap and very tuneable track day car but the light feel is not to every driver’s taste; the solution is to firm up the suspension with some GAZ fully adjustable GT Dampers.
Early to ‘mid-noughties’ VW offer acceptable styling and good overall road performance so still make great ‘fun’ cars or dedicated track day specials to this day.
The colder the air is in an engine’s intake charge the better. Cold air is more dense than hot air and contains more oxygen molecules which makes for a better and more efficient burn which creates more horsepower.
