The BG Racing Folding Wheel & Tyre Trolley provides a practical solution for transport in the pit and paddock area when trailer space is limited. Fully assembled, the trolley can carry multiple wheels and tyres on the tyre-friendly round cross beams as well as tools, parts and other accessories in the bottom tray. The tray has also been specifically designed to accommodate stackable Euro Bins (available separately) allowing users to maximise the storage space available.
When not in use, simply remove the beams and secure them in the empty tray before folding flat each end frame and locking them shut. The trolley can then be slid in to any suitable space for storage and transportation.
Two fixed and two fully-rotating locking & braking castor wheels are provided for strength and ease of movement around the pits, paddock and workshop.
An optional A-Frame fitted with an M12 Rod End, and a Rear Towing Frame are available separately (maximum towing speed of 5mph/8kph). It is recommended that Aluminium Wheels (BGR108PAL) are used for towing. The BG Racing Folding Wheel & Tyre Trolley is manufactured from high-grade mild steel with a durable silver grey powder coated finish.

A standard Mini coil can only do so much. When the compression is raised (as in most high performance engines) or non-standard fuel mixtures are used the coil’s performance is challenged so something better is needed. The Mini Spares Gold Performance Coil is totally different to the usual Lucas type and is generally acclaimed as the best on the market.

The Renault Alpine V6 was the first car launched by Alpine under Renault ownership, although the company had previously had a long association with Renault. In the UK it was simply known as the Renault GTA to avoid confusion with the Sunbeam Alpine. It was quite a performer in its day. It’s light weight made it quicker than it’s rivals like the Porsche 944. Nowadays a car like this could benefit from some suspension modifications; particularly when it has to deal with both our current patched up road system and the smooth tarmac of a race track.
When Tickford was commissioned to convert the Ford Cosworth RS into the RS500 one of the changes it made was to lower and uprate the suspension. Thanks to Gaz Cosworth RS 4×4 (1989-93) owners can now also enjoy the benefits of uprated and lower suspension, with GAZ’s height and damper rate adjustable conversion.
