The Mercedes W126 was the second generation of the company’s S-Class models with the saloon made from 1979 to 1991 and the Coupe made from 1981 to 1990.

This upgrade kit from Hi-Spec is designed to replace the original factory cast iron calipers with lightweight, powerful four pot billet calipers.

The original brake discs are retained; however, Burton can offer standard replacement or uprated grooved discs as optional extras.

The Hi-Spec four pot calipers feature a lightweight body, CNC machining from billet aluminium and anodisation in black as standard or silver as a no-cost option, but with other colours available as an additional-cost option. The GAE131 Reversing Light Switch (Remote Type) is designed to fit Mini three and four-synchro gearboxes (except for rod change types which use GAE191).

This switch replaces the plug on the front of the remote-shift transmission case. It is triggered internally by the shift linkage when reverse is selected.
