If you’ve ever had to change a fuel filter on an injection classic Mini you will know that it is necessary need to remove the whole bracket in order to remove the filter as the securing bolt is on the wrong side for easy access. This is because the bracket was originally used on other models (Rover parts bin special!).

To make life easier Mini Spares has redesigned this bracket so that it splits in half: the bolts are on the correct side so that there is no need to remove the whole bracket from the subframe when changing the filter.

The team at GAZ has been producing dampers for a variety of rare classics recently. One case in point was a set of ride height and damper rate adjustable GP shock absorbers for a rather rare Renault Alpine V6.

GAZ GP dampers enable the damping rate to be adjusted to suit the conditions and driving style by means of an easily accessible knob on the side.

GAZ GP dampers also feature an adjustable spring platform for ride height adjustment and they can also be specified with various spring seat sizes to suit the prefered coil measurements.

GAZ GP units have a gas cell fitted in the outer reservoir to prevent cavitation and resist fade under extreme use making them suitable for both for road and competition use. All units are available with a choice of bearings, bonded or polyurethane bushes and come with a zinc plated body for longevity.

All units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a 2 year warranty

The classic Bristol 405 has now become quite a rare beast. So rare, in fact, that it doesn’t appear in the GAZ catalogue. That didn’t pose a problem for GAZ though when a customer requested a set of fully adjustable dampers for a 405. Armed with all of the technical data GAZ proceeded to custom build a set and now that they have the specification GAZ can reproduce them for other Bristol 405 owners too.

GAZ is pleased to announce that it can now offer a remote canister version of the popular GAZ Gold suspension system for the Audi TT 4wd. This version of the GAZ Gold kit is intended for serious race use and provides multiple adjustments for the perfect race set up.

Bump and rebound damper rates are variable by means of adjuster knobs on the damper bodies and remote canisters. The GAZ Gold range comes with a gas cell in the reservoir filled with a high viscosity index multi grade oil to prevent cavitation and reduce fade under racing and trackday conditions. The addition of a remote canister allows even more oil to be carried; the oil is then cooled by the airflow around the canister during operation.

Ride height is adjustable through 60mm of adjustment and the damper units are fitted with anodised height adjusters for a long life. The height adjusters have a coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and to ensure that they remain in good order even after considerable service.

All the units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two year warranty.
