Quality wiper blades have always been an issue for Minis; having such a small surface area, as well as weak springs in the arm, the blade were always going to be fighting a losing battle.

To resolve this problem Mini Spares has designed and produced their own uprated wiper arm and blade set, which utilises a much heavier spring and a larger 11” blade. This upgrade ensures that the blade remains firmly in contact with the screen when driving at motorway speeds.

The blades are available in stainless steel for both left hand drive and right hand drive vehicles:

The key to eliminating exhaust leaks at the manifold flange is the clamp. These cast iron clamps are the best style to use for security of attachment and to prevent gas leaks.

Part number GEX7046CAST will fit most 850cc, 948cc, 998 Minis whose engines have a single carburettor and a cast iron exhaust manifold.

They are not suitable for use on the later 1275 Cooper and Metro which had a different cast clamp.

Adjustable Vernier Cam Gears
Finally, there are new adjustable vernier cam gears for the 4aGE and 3S-GTE engines which allow the timing to be adjusted by 12 degrees of both advance and retard. Fidanza cam gears are designed to tighter
tolerances than factory OE gears and are precision CNC machined from high grade 6061 T6 aluminium for exact fitment and high durability. Stainless steel studs are threaded through the back of the outer gear; the inner is placed into this and fastened with stainless steel nuts and lock washers.
