The factory water pump pulley on Kent and Lotus Twin Cam engines is a pressed steel item. Burton Power now offers an alloy replacement that not only looks better but is less prone to damage and rust resulting in fusion with the water pump spindle.

In 1970, 850cc Minis with engine number 85H101on had a remote type gearbox case. This was fitted with a ‘magic wand’ type gear lever which was held up by a plate underneath.
This type of gear change requires a detent spring, which in time can lose its effectiveness or even break.

Burton Power can now provide a Powergrip toothed belt conversion for the alternator and water pump on a Ford SOHC Pinto engine.

The alternator pulley in this new Burton kit will fit 15mm alternator shafts although Burton can also provide a similar version for 17mm shafts (use part number: FT1054K/17).

Drive ratios are 1.08:1 for the water pump and 1.86:1 for the alternator.
