The colder the air is in an engine’s intake charge the better. Cold air is more dense than hot air and contains more oxygen molecules which makes for a better and more efficient burn which creates more horsepower.

To assist with keeping your engine’s intake charge as cold as possible DEI has introduced the Cool Cover Gold™ – Air Tube Cover Kit.

Cool Cover Gold™ is manufactured from high temperature metalised polyimide lamination, bonded to a robust heat treated glass fibre base material that will protect and keep components cool in the heat soaked engine compartment environment.

Cool Cover Gold features a hook & loop closure along the open edges for easy installation and is able to reflect direct heat up to 800˚F (427˚C) making it the perfect choice to keep air intakes cool and protected.

Cool Cover Gold will fit air intake tubes up to 28” (71.1cm) long and 3”– 4” (7.62-10.16 cms) in diameter. It is easy to cut or trim as necessary and at just .031” (0.7874 cm) thick takes up negligible space around the intake tube.

Cool Cover Gold has been tested and proved to FSTM 191.5100 and ASTM D1117 standards.

This stainless steel exhaust manifold has been handmade to provide maximum performance whilst looking like a work of art at the same time. The photographs only give an indication of how amazing these manifolds look in the flesh!

This manifold is manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel with a wall thickness of 1.2mm. The joints are gas purged TIG welded. Gas purging provides two benefits. Firstly, it prevents oxidisation in the weld which would compromise the strength and corrosive resistance of the joint. Secondly, it allows the weld to remain smooth inside the pipe thus increasing exhaust gas flow.

• All bends in the tube are mandrel bent to ensure that there is no reduction in diameter throughout the bend for optimum gas flow.

• All primary pipes are constructed to an equal length to ensure smooth and equal performance from each cylinder.

• All collectors are fully welded merge types which are designed to maximise gas flow.

The Mittler Bros. 3 tonne machine manual bench press can be used as a straight press or with punch and flare sets, a corner notcher, louvre presses and with shrinker, stretcher and shearing tools.

All tooling can be mounted for front to back use or can be rotated through 90° for side to side uses.

A deep throat depth of 305mm (12”) allows generous room around the workpiece and there is 25mm clearance between the mounted tooling.
