As major Quaife dealers, Burton Power can now offer the Quaife ATB Differential for the Ford English 22 spline axle (also known as the Timken or Banjo axle). The Quaife ATB Differential is suitable for earlier English Fords including the Anglia 105E/123E, Consul Classic and Consul Capri, Corsair, Cortina Mk1/2, Lotus Cortina, Escort Mk1/2 (inc RS & Mexico), Prefect 107E and the Lotus Elan.

The Quaife ATB is a direct replacement for the standard ‘open’ differential.

Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip unit, these units employ gears, rather than clutch plates for a much smoother operation. The Quaife ATB automatically biases the torque, to a constantly varying degree, away from the spinning wheel across the axle to the wheel that still has traction. It never locks up. Thus, controlled power is delivered to all the driven wheels, maximising traction and minimising wheelspin, particularly in slippery conditions.

It is safe, progressive and seamless in action. It will also improve braking performance and reduce tyre wear.

Burton’s Alternator/Water Pump Drive Kit is a vast improvement on the standard pulley arrangement on the Ford SOHC Pinto engine.

The Burton’s kit contains three aluminium pulleys, a drive belt and an adjustable tensioner as well as a locating bolt.

The conversion uses a multi-ribbed Poly V belt (5PK) with a greater surface area than the original belt.

The aluminium alternator pulley is designed to fit a 15mm diameter shaft, but can be modified to suit 17mm shafts.

The adjustable tensioner features spherical ends for improved belt tensioning.

With warmer temperatures, and the consequent higher under bonnet temperatures, just around the corner, hot fuel handling issues (especially with modern Ethanol fuels) are likely to become apparent on many carburettor equipped classic cars.
However, many of the heat related running issues on Weber 40 and 45 DCOE installations can be easily and quickly reduced by installing these new Webcon Heat Shields. They deflect rising hot air around the body of the carburettor as well as providing an effective insulating air barrier underneath the carburettor.

The Filter King fuel filter features: a glass bowl to easily assess the condition of the replaceable filter, 2 x push on 5/16 (8mm) fuel unions, a universal mounting bracket, and a captive thread to allow fitment of a fuel pressure gauge (the use of Webcon WFR150 0-15psi fuel pressure gauge is recommended).
