The Fidanza aluminium flywheel replaces the heavy standard flywheel and improves the power-to-weight ratio making the engine more responsive thereby improving performance.

The Fidanza aluminium flywheel is made from high-quality machined 6061 T6 aluminium with a 1050 steel friction surface, CNC machined fastener holes and chamfers. The friction surface of the flywheel is a replaceable steel plate, so when the surface eventually becomes worn it can be replaced without the need for a new flywheel. All Fidanza flywheels now come with a distinctive green protective coating on the friction surface.

Fidanza flywheels are suitable for use with just about any clutch disc material available – from organic to Kevlar and even sintered iron. The flywheels are incredibly durable and come with a heat-treated ring gear and military grade fasteners. Fidanza flywheels are equally suited for fast road, trackday and pure competition use.

DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield is a dimpled, bright, 10 mm aluminum facing, bonded to a finely woven layer of high temperature resistant glass fibre material. It is able to withstand harsh road conditions as well as exposure to extreme weather.

In response to customer demand DEI is now producing its Floor and Tunnel Shield in black as well as the more familiar bright alloy finish.

The black finish will appeal to classic car owners who want to insulate their car’s interior from outside noise and heat with a less conspicuous modern material.

DEI Black Floor and Tunnel Shield is applied to the outside on the underside, on the firewall or under the bonnet with the black side facing the heat/noise source.

DEI Floor & Tunnel Shield will conform to the contours of the panels and an aggressive peel-and- stick adhesive backing will ensure it will withstand wind and water and yet will be easy to shape, trim, cut, peel and stick.

The black coating will withstand high temperatures and will be unaffected by heat from turbos, catalytic converters and exhausts.

Burton Power is now offering fully reconditioned Bosch electronic type distributor kits for the Ford SOHC Pinto engine.

The distributors are fitted with an integral electronic ignition module bolted to the distributor body. Each distributor has a modified advance curve to suit fast road/rally specification and is non-vacuum.

Each kit is supplied complete with constant energy coil and wiring harness. (When using on vehicles fitted with a ballast resistor, the ballast must be by-passed to provide 12v at the coil).

The kits are supplied with a straight cap. The approximate static ignition timing is 14deg BTDC.

Order as part number FT295K at £259.96 plus a £40 deposit, refundable on return of a serviceable early Pinto Bosch electronic unit. (Later static type units are not acceptable).

Passion Auto France is proud to announce that it can now offer Limited Slip Differentials for the classic BMW E21 and the iconic BMW 2002 range.
The LSDs are made exclusively for PAF by leading transmission specialists 3J Driveline and are available in a number of versions. The following ramp angles are available: 45/45,
40/90, 30/90, 50/90 and 30/60 and preload can be set from 0 to 150lbs/ft according to customer specification.
The PAF 3J NXG differentials for BMW E21/2002 are certainly the most solid and progressive on the market. Thanks to the precision cutting of the gears the noises generally associated with LSD have been eliminated; furthermore the plate pack, which always runs on a minimum of 8 active surfaces, gives maximum surface to surface area contact during use.
The PAF 3J NXG differential will fit into most E21 housings and use the factory half shafts without modification. The only exception is the very early E21 which used 2002 style half shaft flanges. These early E21s and the 2002 will require adaptor flanges which PAF can also supply. They will also need a minor modification to the original diff casing which can be carried out by the customer (full instructions and template supplied) or by PAF for mail order customers. PAF can also recondition the components in the original diff whilst fitting the LSD to renew the bearings and seals and deliver the assembled diff. ready to install on your car. PAF can arrange collection and return of differentials. Please enquire for prices from/to your country
All differentials are upgraded on an individual basis allowing custom specifications to be incorporated. e.g. it is possible to build custom differential with pre-load tolerance of
1-2lb/ft.
Differential kits retail at £1050 inc VAT and a pair of adaptor flanges retail at £385 inc VAT. Replacing bearings & seals, diff housing modification for ealy E21 and 2002, LSD kit installation in housing and set-up are available at extra cost. Carriage prices vary according to country.
