The classic Bristol 405 has now become quite a rare beast. So rare, in fact, that it doesn’t appear in the GAZ catalogue. That didn’t pose a problem for GAZ though when a customer requested a set of fully adjustable rear dampers for a 405. Armed with all of the technical data GAZ proceeded to custom build a set and now that they have the specification GAZ can reproduce them for other Bristol 405 owners too.

GAZ dampers enable the damping rate to be adjusted to suit the conditions and driving style by means of an easily accessible knob on the side.

GAZ can set the dampers up with valving for general road use and they will also be suitable for the occasional track slalom and sprint use; alternatively, they can be set up for serious racing use if you so wish.

GAZ dampers feature a zinc plated body for longevity and a plastic cover to protect the body from mud, stones and dirt.

All units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a 2 year warranty

GAZ GT Rear Dampers for the Bristol 405 now have a GAZ part number – GT7-5173 – and can be made to order at £64.10 each plus VAT. Fronts can also be made to order.
