Burton Power now has quite a selection of parts from GRP4 Fabrications for early Ford Escorts and the list is forever growing.

The latest addition is a pair of lightweight exterior door handles for the Escort Mk2.

These door handles have been machined from billet aluminium, which makes them stronger than the original castings but also super light (less than half the weight of the original Ford handles!)

The door handles feature lightening holes for added weight saving as well as giving them a purposeful racing look.

Because they are intended for competition vehicles the handles have no provision for fitting a key lock. The key holes are dummies for effect only. However, the handles could be used on a road car (or kit car) if combined with remote control central locking or another separate locking device.

Webcon now manufactures a heat shield for use on the Weber DCOE and DCO/SP range of carburettors.

On non-crossflow engines the carburettors are directly above the exhaust manifold. When exhaust heat rises up it can cause fuel handling problems in sidedraft carburettors. The new Webcon Heat Shield helps alleviate these problems by deflecting the heat around the carburettor.

GAZ Gold units are bump and rebound adjustable while on the vehicle by means of an easily accessible adjuster knob. GAZ can produce this kit with ‘road use’ or ‘full race’ valving as required and supply the appropriate springs for the intended purpose.
