Powerflex has just released two new bush kits for the popular Smart Fortwo 451 (2007 – 2014)

PFR68-130 REAR BEAM MOUNT BUSH. The OE rubber bush is only supplied as part of the rear axle beam assembly making it extremely expensive to replace (£300 plus labour) when it fails. Powerflex is now making a two-piece voided bush, offering a cost effective replacement solution that can be installed in situ. With this one bush being the main mounting point for the rear axle, its operation is vital for rear end control. Worn rubber just simply won’t do! Retail price: £ 41.94 including VAT each.

PFR68-120 ENGINE MOUNT INSERT/ Fitting the new insert reduces engine movement caused by the torque reaction of the engine during acceleration and deceleration. Gains can be seen in power transfer to the road along with less stress on the exhaust down pipe, hoses and wiring.

Powerflex has just released various track control arm bushes for the current  Jaguar XJ X351(2010-).

The front suspension setup comes with both cast and aluminium lower track control arms and Powerflex offers bushes for both options.

Late-model Mini owners can now have all the benefits of silicone heater hoses on their cars. No more perished hoses or inconvenient leaks. The heater hose that runs from the cylinder head take off to the plastic inline heater valve fitted on 998cc 1988 onwards Minis, which is included in the new Mini Spares heater hose kit, is also available as a stand alone item.

GAZ has recently improved the Gaz Gold suspension it offers for the Fiesta MkV Zetec by providing the protection of a black zinc coating.

As usual the GAZ units are adjustable whilst on the vehicle by means of an easily accessible side mounted adjuster knob.

The GAZ Gold range comes with a gas cell in the reservoir filled with a high viscosity index multi grade oil to prevent cavitation and reduce fade under racing and trackday conditions.

Ride height is adjustable from -25mm to -50mm. The height adjusters have a coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and to ensure that they remain in good order even after considerable service.

GAZ adjustable dampers enable the damping rate to be adjusted to suit the conditions and driving style by means of an easily accessible knob on the side.
