Ensuring that the fuel pressure is set correctly is always the first step taken when tuning carburettors or diagnosing fuelling faults. It is therefore vital that the gauge used is as accurate as possible.

Mini Spares has just released its own faithful reproduction of the Clubman Rear Chrome Metal Bumper.
The original bumper was fitted by Leyland on its Special Edition models, such as the Mini Special 1100cc, from 1979. However the Mini Spares Clubman bumper will also fit the front or the rear of any non-Clubman Mini and it has been converted to metric thread to eradicate cross threading.

As an official Cobra Sport dealer M-Style is proud to announce it now has stocks of the latest Cobra Sport exhaust is for the M135i 1 Series BMW; the F40.
As standard, the M135i, comes with a rather disappointing muted exhaust. The Cobra Sport upgrade not only improves the sound but the performance as well. These improvements have been made possible by the use of 3”/76.2mm stainless steel pipework throughout, which is enhanced by mandrel bent curves for smoother, therefore more efficient, gas flow.
Customers have the option to upgrade the system in stages if preferred. A PPF -back configuration retains the stock catalyst and PPF and is MOT compliant. Adding a PPF-delete section would create the cat-back setup whilst customers going down the tuning route can add a high-flow sports catalyst or de-cat front pipe to create a full turbo-back setup. For significantly improved sound levels, there is then a rear-silencer-delete option which also reduces weight.
To improve the M135i’s looks there is a choice of dual 4” (101.6mm) and 4.5” (114.3mm) slash cut, highly polished stainless-steel tailpipes or the option to upgrade to carbon fibre tailpipes. The standard diffuser is retained.

GAZ is now offering adjustable alloy top mounts to firm up the suspension struts’ location points on Mazda RX-7 (FB models) competition and trackday cars. The alloy mounts also provide the opportunity to adjust the camber on these cars by means of a two piece sliding plate.
These CNC machined alloy billet top mounts come complete with stainless steel bolts, a ready fitted centre bearing and spacer plate.
GAZ top mounts are ideal for racing and dedicated track day cars but would probably be too harsh for cars used daily on the road.

Whenever GAZ produces a one-off suspension component for a customer they then add that part to their catalogue and make it available for other owners of that vehicle model.
This can sometimes lead to some quite obscure parts becoming available. One such example is the GAZ solid suspension mounts for the Lancia Monte Carlo.
These billet aluminium mounts replace the rubber mounts used on production cars and provides a stiffer and more positive suspension location for cars that are used exclusively in competition or on trackdays. This ensures the ideal set up for classic racing but this would be too hard and noisy for general road use.

Leading suspension specialist GAZ now has a GAZ Gold coilover suspension kit for the VW Golf Mk7.
The new kit is suitable for street, track day and even outright competition vehicles – especially those that have been subject to extensive power upgrades.
GAZ Gold coilovers are provided for the front with GAZ adjustable dampers, lowered springs and height adjustable spring seats for the rear.
GAZ Gold coilovers are produced with a gas cell in the outer reservoir. This helps prevent cavitation. The units are then filled with a multi grade high viscosity index fluid to help resist fade under extreme conditions.
GAZ Gold units are bump and rebound adjustable while on the vehicle by means of an easily accessible adjuster knob.
Ride height is adjustable through 60mm of adjustment and all units are individually tested before leaving the factory and covered by a two year warranty.
Gaz now offer fully adjustable GAZ Gold suspension kits for both the 1996-98 and 1999on Ford Ka models. The coilover struts are both height and damper rate adjustable. Ride height is altered by means of adjustable spring seats.
The height adjusters have a coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and the damper units are black zinc plated to ensure that they remain in good order even after considerable service.
Damper rates are controlled by an adjuster knob on the damper body. The GAZ coilovers come with a gas cell in the reservoir filled with a high viscosity index multi grade oil to prevent cavitation and reduce fade under racing or trackday conditions.
All the units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a 2 year warranty.
