DEI’s new 7” Silver Protect-A-Boots™ protects spark plug wires and boots from excessive heat generated from the engine, exhaust manifold and headers. This can cause wires and boots to burn, harden or crack resulting in arcing, misfire or even full ignition failure.

DEI’s Protect-A-Boots™ are designed to withstand direct heat up to 1200°F and are extremely pliable thus facilitating easy installation on straight or angled boots. They are ideal for engines where the plugs are deep within the cylinder head or in close proximity to exhaust manifolds or turbochargers. They also minimise the risk of crossfiring where the plug wires are close or touching each other.

DEI’s Protect-A-Boots™ are made from high temperature resistant woven glass fibre material with double-wall construction but no restricting steel ring. They are resistant to damage from chemicals, abrasions and contaminants.

The DNA Rear Strut Brace with tie rods has been designed to improve chassis rigidity by joining the two strut towers together with the main chassis. It transmits the load of each strut tower during cornering thus reducing chassis deformation. This results in better handling, a more precise steering system and a better suspension geometry control.

The bar comes with two additional lateral tie rods which further increases the stiffness of the side members whilst only reducing the available space in the luggage compartment by a tiny amount.

The BG Racing HUBStands Toe Stick Pro Kit is a revamped version of the existing BG Racing Toe Stick and Toe Stub set up and features a pair of sliding, laser-etched measurement scales that make reading the values quick and simple.

The Toe Stick Pro Kit has been designed for use on the HUBStands Proline Kit and will work with wheel diameters ranging from 12” to 22” thanks to the sliding measurement scales. The sliding scales are held securely in place with a pair of knurled thumb screws which are included with the kit.

The Toe Stick Pro Kit is finished with a black anodised coating and includes a set of aluminium Toe Stubs to elevate the Toe Stick off the face of the hub so as to clear large brake calipers and grease caps. Circular steel plates mount in the centre line of the hub enable this product to be used with the BG Racing range of magnetic camber measurement gauges.

Most us are familiar with the theory of a limited slip differential even if the technicalities are a bit of a mystery. If one wheel looses grip and spins a LSD will supply drive power to the wheel that still has grip, unlike an ‘open’ diff where the spinning wheel will continue to spin and the wheel that has traction will stop turning.

There are many technically different LSDs available, but, after exhaustive tests, MStyle has decided to offer American made Wavetrac differentials to its customers and is reinforceing its belief in the product by offering an introductory 5% discount on supply and fitting.

The unique patented feature that sets Wavetrac apart from other LSDs is the speed at which it reacts to a wheel lifting or the transition from acceleration to deceleration when there is near zero torque at the axle. Wavetrac’s ring of helical gears and wave shaped carbon fibre bias plates react to the half shafts turning at different speeds, rapidly causing each wave surface to climb the other thereby moving them apart.

This, very quickly creates enough internal load within the Wavetrac to apply torque to the wheel on the ground thus keeping the vehicle moving under power without wheelspin.
