With the design of many Mini parts now some 60 years old it’s hardly surprising that science has developed improved alternatives.

The classic Mini differential output shaft oil seal is a case in point.

Mini Spares is pleased to announce a new version of the gearbox output shaft seal made from a modern day material – Viton. The new material will help stop those troublesome leaks that many classic Minis suffer from.

The latest release from M-Style is a daytime running light (DRL) Colour Changing Module available in versions to suit selected BMW F and G chassis models.

Shown here on the M-Style G83 M4 demo car, the modules allow the DRLs to display a mind boggling array of colours, all controlled from a mobile phone via Bluetooth.

The latest new product from Webcon for the classic Porsche 911 is an air filter to suit the Weber 40 and 46IDA3C caburettors.

Manufactured by Webcon in the UK, the top, base and posts have been machined from billet aluminium which has then been black anodized. The element is reuseable, thus saving on future service costs, and is capable of trapping minute contaminating particles. Excessive fuel pressure causing flooding is becoming a common problem on new or recently rebuilt carburettor set ups. This can happen either with an electric fuel pump or when a cheap copy of an original mechanical fuel pump produces way more line pressure than the intended 3 to 3.5 psi. This problem is especially common on Ford and Volvo engines.

The solution is to install a Webcon Fuel Pressure Gauge.

Webcon part number WFR150K includes a superb quality 0-15 psi fluid filled fuel pressure gauge with a Webcon manufactured anodised 8mm 5/16” billet aluminium fuel line adaptor and plug, together with a couple of OEM quality hose clamps. All at an ultra competitive price of £34.95 plus VAT.

For vehicles with an EFI system, Webcon has the WFR151K gauge kit which features the same superb quality fuel line adaptor and clips, but includes a 1-8 bar gauge so that the EFI fuel pressure can be measured and set prior to mapping. The WFR151K gauge kit retails at £37.95 plus VAT.

Fitting either of these new kits is extremely easy. A blanking plug is included in the adaptor so that the fuel gauge can be removed after set up or left in place for continual monitoring.

M-Style is now offering a GTS Style Bonnet with fully functioning air scoop for the BMW F80 M3 and the F82 M4.

The bonnet is metal with a plastic vent and is supplied unpainted. Retai price is: £1095 inc. VAT supplied unpainted (considerably less than the cost of a genuine GTS bonnet!).
