GAZ Adjustable GP Dampers for Lotus Elan M100

The Lotus M100 Elan was launched in August 1989, reviving the Elan nameplate after 14 years.
As the only front wheel drive car ever to have been produced by Lotus it attracted mixed reviews. There were definite advantages in traction and controllability and its cornering performance was undeniable; however, some reviewers found the handling too secure and predictable compared to a rear-wheel-drive car.

If you are lucky enough to own one of the few remaining M100 models you can now take advantage of the adjustability that a GAZ GP suspension system provides.

GP dampers incorporate adjustable spring seats that lower the car to reduce the centre of gravity as well as improving the looks and handling.

GAZ GP Dampers provide variable bump and rebound rates which can be adjusted through 20 points to suit the conditions and driving style by means of an easily accessible knob on the side of the units.

GAZ can set the dampers up for general road use and they will also be suitable for occasional track slalom and sprint use; alternatively they can even be set up for serious racing use if you so wish.

GAZ GP dampers feature a gold passivated body as shown here (or black zinc plated body at extra cost) to keep them looking good and working well for long into the future. The dampers are also fitted with a gas cell in the hydraulic fluid to prevent cavitation and resist fade.

All units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two year warranty.
