The ONYX™ Starter Shield consists of two layers of material: a highly reflective outer layer combined with a high-heat resistant inner layer. The ONYX™ Starter Shield is able to endure direct heat up to 730 degrees Celsius.
The DEI ONYX™ Starter Shield is the perfect choice for high heat applications where engine heat soak is a problem. The Shield is easy to fit thanks to a hook & loop fastening system. It is supplied in a 7” wide x 24” long size (177.8mm x 609.6mm), but the length can be trimmed to fit the starter if necessary.
