M-Style now has a complete cooling package solution for E9X M3 cars. This is particularly suitable for those that have been subject to power upgrades and/or are used to their full potential on the track. The kit is made from aircraft quality aluminium and comprises: an engine water radiator, engine oil cooler, DCT gearbox oil cooler and a power steering fluid cooler.
Aluminium is the modern material of choice for cooling. It is stronger than copper or brass so can provide a thinner tube wall thickness which improves heat transfer. It can also perform the cooling task with fewer cores so the rearmost cores don’t struggle to cool with hot air transferred from the frontmost cores.
