Design Engineering, Inc. has introduced a new Interior Insulation Kit (# 050295) for the NA and NB MX-5 models that uses DEI’s proven Under Carpet LiteTM material to insulate the interior from heat and noise for a cool, comfortable ride. The thick multilayer material
blocks heat and absorbs engine, tyre and road noise.
The kit is easy to install thanks to pre-cut component parts.
The DEI under-carpet kit for NA and NB MX-5 models retails at £124.76 plus shipping and import tax.
For an added level of noise and vibration control DEI offers the Mazda MX-5 Vibration Damping Kit (# 50600). These additional DEI Boom MatTM pads fix directly to the metal floor and firewall panels under the insulation kit to prevent drumming and reduce rattles, squeaks and vibrations. This creates a more comfortable interior with improved acoustics. The pre-cut Boom MatTM pads feature a self adhesive backing for easy installation with no mess. A roll of self adhesive Boom MatTM tape (for the smaller and more contoured areas) and an application roller come with the kit which retails at £52.42 plus shipping and import tax.
