The chain uses modern day materials and technology to keep the timing correct and will fit any A Series engine that uses a single row chain.
This chain saves all the time and effort required in replacing standard chains and is unquestionably worth the slightly extra cost.
This chain and single wheel set up is also suitable for racing engines as it saves weight and resolves problems with timing covers fouling (as often encountered with duplex chain set ups). There is the added bonus of improved longevity – even in a highly tuned engine.
Mini Spares recommends that a new lock tab is fitted whenever a timing chain is replaced and therefore a new lock tab is included in this package.
