Fidanza offers two performance clutch options in its V-Series range for the Mini Cooper S (2002-2006).
V-1 is a sprung hub, full face organic street disc designed for ultimate drivability and performance. V1 discs feature a reduced marcel for faster, crisper shifts.
V-2 is a sprung hub, ceramic 6 puck designed for high-power builds used on the street or track.
The sprung hub design will reduce vibration, lower engagement shock and provide a quieter operation. Hub springs are caged for additional support and safety. Discs come with steel backed linings for increased burst strength and premium friction materials for better engagement, increased heat resistance, faster recovery and extended clutch life.
Fidanza clutch pressure plates are specifically designed to handle higher than standard torque applications, but without taxing your leg muscles. With Fidanza’s design you can expect to have an increase in pedal effort between 15-20% over stock depending on application. The clutches could be designed with more or less pedal effort but longevity, torque capacity, or engagement quality would suffer.
All Fidanza clutch assemblies are computer balanced to help reduce vibration and noise and to ensure smooth operation. Fidanza Performance’s V-Series clutches provide great grip and performance at an affordable price and come complete with pressure plate, disc, release bearing and an alignment tool.
Order as 677161 for the V1 version for engines putting out up to 250 lb/ft torque and 677162 for engines with up to 320 lb/ft torque.
