The Renault Clio Williams was launched in 1993 with an initial run of 3,800 cars. It proved so popular that Renault made an additional 1,600 more. The Williams F1 team had nothing to do with the design or engineering of the car but it was used as the F1 Safety Car in 1996. It was actually the product of Renault Sport and many were converted to race cars from new. The Clio Williams had a wider track than the ‘ordinary’ Clio and a firmer suspension. GAZ now offers fully adjustable dampers made especially to suit the Clio William’s uprated suspension.
GAZ adjustable dampers enable the damping rate to be adjusted to suit the conditions and driving style by means of an easily accessible knob on the side.
GAZ can set the dampers up with valving for general road use and they will also be suitable for the occasional track, slalom and sprint use; alternatively, they can be set up for serious racing use if you so wish.
These GAZ dampers feature a zinc plated body for longevity and a plastic cover to protect the body from mud, stones and dirt.
All units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two year warranty
