Boom Mat’s regular aluminium damping material has long been used to reduce vibration and noise whilst providing insulation to protect against extreme heat and cold.

Now meet Boom Mat Flex, a material that is pliable enough to be used anywhere in a vehicle, even in the most challenging areas such as those with tight curves. Unlike Boom Mat Aluminium, Boom Mat Flex easily conforms to odd shapes and tighter bends making it ideal to use inside wheel wells, mudguards or around tubing and pipes.

This new flexible peel and stick damping material is available in packs of two, four or ten. Each section measures 12” x 12” square and can be trimmed to the exact size required.

Boom Mat Flex is made from 2.5mm thick Butyl rubber and has a clear poly surface with a black textured finish. Boom Mat Flex’s aggressive adhesive backing allows it to be shaped and secured firmly around any surface to reduce bothersome noise whilst adding heat insulation. It is also a great way to protect the paint on new, custom, or luxury vehicles.

Boom Mat Flex also has the potential to be used for many purposes other than automotive. For the home, it can be used to sound-proof a home theatre, music room or workshop, or for reducing noise from sheet metal heating and cooling ducts; for commercial and industrial applications it can be used wherever sound-damping is needed.

Each canister oil filter comes with a hex nut welded to the top of the canister so it can be easily wrenched-off with a standard tool. A hole is drilled through the wrench-off nut to secure the oil filter with a safety wire that is required in many types of racing. The canister features rolled threads to help prevent stripping and provides a smoother installation.

K&N Premium Wrench-Off Oil Filters are specially designed for high durability and high flow rates in extreme conditions. The high flow rate maintains outstanding filtration even during high-performance racing conditions. The superior filter media cleans 99% of damaging contaminants and an anti-drainback valve (where applicable) keeps oil in the engine to help prevent dry starts.

The oil filter walls are highly durable to minimise the risk of debris or rocks damaging the housing. The filters are also designed to handle higher oil pressures without bursting.

Burton OPi Dry Sump Oil Pump Kit

For Ford SOHC Pinto & Cosworth YB with long stroke sump OPIDSK5.

This is the most efficient dry sump system currently available. It is suitable for YB Cosworth (N/A & turbo) and SOHC Pinto engines from clubman level up to serious full race.
The kit includes: a smooth cast aluminium sump pan with a sealing O-ring to the block face, mounting bosses for a crank sensor bracket, twin filtered scavenge pick ups and an integral baffle assembly. The sump also contains various external mounting points which make it possible to use a custom made cradle to mount the 4wd front diff. whilst clearance is provided for the drive shaft.
The pump mounts on the distributor side of the block and drives from the jackshaft. The pump is a gear type, rather than the more usual rotor type, which gives it many advantages:

Aeroflow Performance manufactures a range of externally mounted electric fuel pumps designed for use on carburettor equipped engines. The fuel pumps are available with three different pressure and flow rates to suit most applications.

RED Pump – The Aeroflow RED Fuel Pump has a maximum delivery pressure of 7 PSI and a maximum flow rate of 97 Gallons Per Hour. Compatible with petrol only and so not suitable for use with methanol or alcohol fuels. Ideal for mildly modified engines.

Propelling the bicycle at an electronically limited speed of sixty miles-per-hour, the near-silent 15kW electric motor sits within an innovative hybrid aluminium and carbon-shell frame, which is designed primarily for function but is rakishly eye-catching. The materials have been chosen for stiffness, lightness of weight and mechanical resilience and to add to the performance are pedals and regenerative brakes with twin front discs. SWIND EB-01 has an electric range up to 80 miles, and takes under 90 minutes to fully charge. It has three power settings: Eco, Normal and, for the brave, Boost. The EB-01’s 9-speed sequential gearbox is fully integrated into the frame delivering instant and silky smooth shifts regardless of the terrain, load, and power setting. The drivetrain is fully

Moss Europe RetroSound DAB Radio* for classic cars

It’s now unusual to find a new car that isn’t equipped with DAB digital radio. DAB makes more radio stations available and suffers from less interference from other broadcasts than FM, AM and long wave radio. But what about classic cars? Moss Europe is pleased to announce that it can now offer modern DAB digital radio in a period correct classic style head unit that utilises either the existing aerial with an adaptor or the latest hidden amplified aerial which requires no drilling of the classic car’s wing or roof.

The RetroSound San Diego head unit maintains the original ‘twin knob’ (DIN-D) style mounting required for many classic cars but brings you modern entertainment in the form of DAB/DAB+ digital radio along with an AM/FM Tuner. It is iPod/iPhone and Android compatible as well as providing a Bluetooth connection, two rear USB ports and two rear auxiliary inputs.
