Leading suspension specialists GAZ has just supplied adjustable GT rear dampers for the classic W201 Mercedes 190. This application has since been added to the GAZ application list to allow for future orders.
GAZ can usually make dampers for classic models, where the originals have become difficult to obtain, providing there are no other limiting factors with the suspension system.
GAZ GT Dampers will provide variable bump and rebound rates which can be adjusted to suit the conditions and driving style. The damping rates can be altered by means of an easily accessible knob on the side of the units.
GAZ can set the dampers up for general road use and they will also be suitable for occasional track, slalom and sprint use or, alternatively, they can even be set up for serious racing use if you wish.
GAZ dampers feature a zinc plated body and protective plastic sleeve to keep them looking good and working well for long into the future.
All units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a two year warranty.
The GAZ GT dampers for the Mercedes W201 190SL can be ordered as GP7-4943 for the front and GP7-4944 for the rear. The dampers retail at £67.28 each plus VAT. Rear dampers are available for the 190E model as part number GT7-5119, also at £67.28 each plus VAT. Please enquire for other models.
