The bell housing comes with both left hand and right hand starter motor locations and is compatible with both RHD and LHD applications.
This bellhousing is suitable for the following engines and gearbox combinations:
Ford CVH to Type 9 5 speed gearbox or Type E 4 speed rocket gearbox
Ford SOHC Pinto to Type 9 5 speed gearbox or Type E 4 speed rocket gearbox
Ford Pre-Crossflow OHV Kent to Type 9 5 speed gearbox or Type E 4 speed rocket gearbox
Ford Crossflow OHV Kent to Type 9 5 speed gearbox or Type E 4 speed rocket gearbox
Ford Cosworth BD Series 16v to Type 9 5 speed gearbox or Type E 4 speed rocket gearbox
Ford Zetec E 16v to Type 9 5 speed gearbox or Type E 4 speed rocket gearbox
Ford Lotus Twin Cam 8v 1558cc Type 9 5 speed gearbox or Type E 4 speed rocket gearbox
It is also a suitable ‘original’ replacement in the Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 1973-1974, Escort Mk2 RS Mexico 1975-1978 and Escort Mk2 RS2000 1976-1980.
