Through their involvement in racing the team members at GAZ Shocks have become quite the experts in designing performance suspension for various BMW models.

GAZ gas-charged Monotube Coilovers are far lighter than other types of coilover damper and make more use of lightweight billet aluminium parts that reduces unsprung weight. On most cars the rear camber angle is fixed as standard and cannot be modified.
However, Burton now offers a camber plate kit for the Ford Fiesta Mk 7. Simply placing these plates between the wheel hub and rear beams the camber alters with minimal change to the wheel track.

The Ford Fiesta Mk 7 sometimes has a tendency to understeer when approaching a turn.
The new 22mm diameter DNA rear torsion bar, from Burton, will completely eliminate the under steering tendency and, as a result, facilitates a very quick steering response.
In general, the use of bigger anti-roll bars improve the overall performance of the vehicle whilest maintaining a “much flatter set up” that reduces the roll angle during cornering.
Fitting a bigger torsion bar provides these benefits without the need to use very hard springs which would negatively affect comfort and performance on uneven ground.

The latest cooperation project by ABT Sportsline from Germany has more power than an RS6+ and will leave any supercar behind – on the shoreline. The STRIDER 11 ABT SPORT MASTER LIMITED EDITION is a luxury sports speedboat in the base with 740 HP (544 kW) that was developed together with renowned boat builder SACS from Italy. Which is where the fascinating vessel is built on the basis of the STRIDER 11 production model. The result of the RIB design is a relatively lightweight 4.5 t low-draft sports boat which can reach more than 50 knots (around 93 km/h) on the water, despite its length of 11 m.
“Many of our customers are interested in boats and yachts,” explains Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of the world’s largest tuner for Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. “That is why I had long dreamed of transferring our technical and styling skills from vehicle tuning to a boat. And I immediately knew I had hit the right nerve among my employees with this project.” The finished project is testament to the passion developed by all those involved. At the BOOT exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, the STRIDER 11 ABT will be presented to the public for the first time at the SACS stand E21, hall 5, from January 19 to 27. But anyone looking to buy one of these has to hurry up, as the collector’s item is strictly limited to ten boats.
